Remarks & Notes
HST of First Great Western, in the new dark green colors of the Great Western Railway (GWR), as train 1A94 from Penzance to London Paddington, is crossing the Royal Albert Bridge over the Tamar river between Saltash (Cornwall) and Plymouth (Devon). This unique Bowstring Suspension Bridge for the Cornwall Railway was built between 1854 and 1859, designed by engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The rail deck is 30 meter above the mean spring high tide and has two main spans of 139 meters each.
