Remarks & Notes
NS train 951, the AAPRCO convention special, is beginning its final leg into Louisville after meeting train 376 at Tucker. "The Spirit of St. Louis" operated from Chicago to Cincinnati with a layover, then traveled over super rare mileage for Amtrak (CNO&TP and Louisville Southern) to get to Louisville. The final leg to the convention in St. Louis will be via former Southern Railway across southern Indiana and Illinois after a layover in Louisville.

Kentucky hasn't been lucky with Amtrak. The Floridian and Kentucky Cardinal are gone. The Cardinal runs only three times a week. The City of New Orleans passes through in the middle of the night. Yet, there are still many good views to be seen.
