Remarks & Notes
Amtrak P42DC #110 is in charge of train 56 "The Vermonter" slowing to make the station stop at Greenfield, MA 9/6/15. There is ample time to make the connection from the southbound to northbound trains at Springfield, MA, allowing you to take a roundtrip ride on the B&M Conn River Line from White River Jct., VT or any other station you choose north of Springfield and enjoy some amazing scenery.

The successor to the Montrealer, the Vermonter runs between St. Albans, Vt., and Washington, DC. Much of the northern part of the route runs along the Connecticut and White Rivers.
