Originally constructed by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1896, Mount Royal Station in Baltimore, MD, still stands pristine today. The station has been occupied by the Maryland Institute College of Art, since the end of passenger service in 1961. Freight trains still rumble through the adjacent train shed, which marks the east end of the Howard St Tunnel on CSX's Baltimore Terminal Subdivision.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
