CNW 972 leads an SD45/C628/SD45/C628/GP7 consist up out of the Chippewa River valley at Chippewa Falls, WI on a late afternoon in February 1973. This train was 188 cars in length, featuring 88 40 ft. grain boxes on the front. Note the water bottle on the nose of the lead unit.
