| A typical four-pack of NYS&W SD60s lead SU99 west through Hackensack shortly after departing the MC Yard in Bogota. The NYS&W main passes through the downtown area at grade with four road crossings in fairly quick succession. A second main track was once located to the right of the current single main, and this was required to handle the frequent passenger runs between Paterson and Jersey City in the 1940s and 1950s. A passenger station once stood immediately to the right of the power in this view, located on the south side of the tracks between Main and Moore Streets. |
