Remarks & Notes

An unseasonably warm day in February made a trip to the Santa Fe mainline in Illinois a wonderful experience. Of course having Superfleet power race by at nearly 70 mph did not hurt. Here we got a sampling of three different models, a Dash 9, a Dash 8 40CW and a GP60M, on a fast eastbound intermodal. Note the lack of stacks.
