| Conrail MA-1 makes an unusual appearance on the Lehigh Line east of CP Aldene. The Manville-based local has apparently made a round trip to Oak Island Yard and is seen heading west from CP Newark on track 2 with three cars in tow. Conrail MA-2, another Manville-based local, headed west on track 1 several minutes earlier as a light engine move. MA-2 diverted off the Lehigh Line at CP Aldene for NJ Transit's Raritan Valley Line where I assume they headed for Plainfield to switch the one remaining customer west of Bound Brook. Neither train is typically seen in this area. |
