Remarks & Notes
Nickel Plate #757  Built by Lima in 1944, NKP #757 was donated by the Norfolk & Western Railway becoming the Museum's first locomotive in 1966. In October of 2010, the locomotive was moved from the side yard to the front of the Museum. The main rod had to be disconnected for the move as it had seized Fortunately, for all of us, N&W #611 at the VMT was regularity lubricated and moved back and forth while outdoors. It is rather sad the main rod has not since been reattached.
