Well, I'm a day late with this (thanks, Sporting Kansas City), but here's the 1989 rolling east through Bonner Springs on Sunday morning. I had to wait here for some time, as MOW had the line down to one track west of here, but I got to spend the time talking with a young, new railfan and his dad answering all sorts of questions they had. THIS is what it's all about. The kid was thrilled that he was finally able to see his first UP Heritage unit and I was able to help them find them more easily in the future.
