"Evening Eastbound through Hawthorne"
Due to heavy snowfall the previous day, the NYS&W dispatched a plow extra consisting of two light engines to clear crossings on the Southern Division. The train operated with NYSW 3022 on the West end and NS 5294 on the East end. After a long day plowing the mainline, WSX cruises past the fully restored Hawthorne Station, which serves as the base of operations for the Volunteer Railroaders Association. |
