Remarks & Notes 
The experiment that didn’t work out: Alco PA 607 was selected as the control unit for Union Pacific’s coal-fired gas turbine 8080B which was formerly Great Northern electric 5018. A Fairbanks-Morse switcher with its headlight covered is out of service at right, pending disposition.
