| At the west end of KCT Mill Street Yard, KCT Train 217 doubles up 74 cars bound for UP Neff Yard later tonight. This engine has been switching cars here at Mill Street for 50 years this year, starting out as KCT 79.
The main line here was heavily rehabilitated during May, and the crossover under the engine was installed last winter, linking the always separate Ex-KCS and the KCT lines west of Mill Street and Armourdale Yard. |
