Remarks & Notes

To help ease their motive power shortage while orders for new locomotives are filled, Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) has hired a number of RRL Grindrod's type RL30SCC-3 diesels, built at the Grindrod workshops in Pretoria. Four of these locomotives are seen running light engine on the Sentrarand line just north of Skansdam.
