Remarks & Notes
This locomotive is a landmark in high perfomance electric locomotive construction. AC is converted to three-phase electric power before being used for the motors - today the standard for electric locomotives - 120 101-1 is the first of the serial production starting commercial use of this technique. It is in service since 1987. The train enters Rhine River Bridge at Rhine kilometer 0. Constance Cathedral is depicted in the background.
