Built as Peoria & Pekin Union Railway 405 NW2 in June 1949, to Keokuk Junction Railway 405, to PREX 108. The unit is seen during the night in New Albany, Ms. where it has been undergoing repairs to the cooling system which are nearly complete. Still in it's as built configuration, the unit now waits on new valves for the air throttle. After the the needed repairs are complete, the unit will be transferred to Red Bay, Alabama.
