Remarks & Notes
The Tranvia del Este (Tramway of the East) running through Buenos Aires' Puerto Madero neighbourhood was an attempt at implementing a form of rail-based transit through the rapidly gentrifying area. Inaugurated in 2007, the line ran from approximately nowhere to more or less nowhere; ridership was consequently sparse and a planned extention to Retiro station never worked out. The line shut down in 2012.

This Citadis 302 LRV was borrowed from Madrid, and still wears the colours of the Metro Ligero of its native city. As far as I know, it hasn't moved from this spot since the shutdown.

The track at right allows freight trains to and from the Roca network to access the yard at Empalme Norte (North Junction; at the port of Buenos Aires) and sees a few daily movements.
