A late running Amtrak train #27 glides down Providence Hill, nearing the Beatrice crossovers as the NS 8099 and its oil train do the same on a chilly November morning. Both trains were side by side in the cut at the top of the hill, as Amtrak was running around the slower, heavier oil train.
