A string of Maintenance of Way cars sit on the Norfolk Southern interchange lead at Shenandoah Junction, WV as a northbound train approaches as the midnight fog rolls in. The orangish car is made even more colorful by the stop signals displayed by the Norfolk & Western CPL signals behind the photographer.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
