California is living up to its "Golden State" monicker as UP's Susan G. Komen breast cancer awareness unit leads a northbound stack train over the second crossing of Caliente Creek and into the setting sun. The long, arduous journey over the Tehachapi Mountains is nearly complete as, in less than 20 miles, the train will arrive in Bakersfield, after which it will traverse the flatlands of California's central valley all the way north to the Bay Area.
