The Carolinian heads north under the SB signals at Slaters Lane. This view is from the bike path of the recently created Potomac Yard Park, a narrow park, maybe 30 yards wide, that sits alongside the west side of the main line. Much of the strip between the bike path and RoW has been planted with trees and already most of the views are obstructed, and in 5-10 years will be wooded; a few of those trees are seen in the foreground. A few vantage points have been left open.
