BEDT #16 was the last steam locomotive to operate in New York in revenue, running at the docks in Brooklyn until the fall of 1963. Today, she is undergoing a lengthy cosmetic restoration in Riverhead. Sister engines 12, 13, 14, and 15, the latter of which is now the famed Thomas the Tank Engine on the Strasburg, all survive as well.
