If Germany had have ordered ALCO engines - this is what they might have looked like! A Polish TEM2 (a Russian design based heavily on the ALCO switchers of the 1950s) now finds itself in the privatised world of Polish freight operations running for the German operator, alongside former Czech class 742s and British class 66s.
