Railroad & Locomotive Historical Society member Shelley Hunter gets down and dirty to capture a unique view of Union Pacific 4014 as the locomotive completes a move across another section of temporary track. R&LHS, also known as Railgiants.org, is assisting with the move of 4014 off the Pomona Fair Grounds in Pomona CA. Interesting bit of trivia, the R&LHS as actually owned the 4014 longer than the Union Pacific originally did. R&LH has had custody of the Big Boy for over a half a century compared to the 20 years of service she first spent with the UP. Now that shes back in the stable with the other thoroughbreds, I'm sure we can look forward to 4014 running for many years in the future on the Union Pacific Railroad.
