Amtrak train #3 is about to take the clear signal out of the west end of the semaphore protected siding of Chapelle after meeting train #4 here on 7/23/13. Chapelle has semaphores still protecting both ends of the siding here, in 2013 none the less! Also of note, the lead unit here, Amtrak 44, had its nose damaged pretty good after recently hitting an auto carrier fowling a crossing in Albuquerque, NM.
