The former CNJ Grasseli Branch once connected the railroad's Perth Amboy and Elizabethport Branch with the Sound Shore Branch. A portion of the Grasseli Branch is still in service, connecting Conrail's Chemical Coast Secondary (former Perth Amboy and Elizabethport Branch) with an ethanol distribution facility. Parked on the branch is power for a Norfolk Southern ethanol train, consisting of two CSXT locomotives, a UP locomotive, and a NS locomotive.
