A Durango and Silverton mixed freight treads slowly along the steep cliffs high above the Animas River east (south) near Rockwood, Colorado, on August 24, 2005. Outside-frame Mikato 2-8-2 No. 473 powers the train, which included some freight cars, a coach and short caboose No. 0500.
