The rear platform of UPP No. 115, the business car “Selma,” is adorned with a drumhead representing the Union Pacific steam program. Seen through the latticework of window panes of the roundhouse reflected in the car windows is the historical clock tower of the Cheyenne Depot. Business Car Selma is in long term storage at the Cheyenne roundhouse. It was built for UP by Pullman Standard in 1912 as business car No. 101 and is the oldest car in UP’s heritage passenger fleet. Early on, the car was sold to the Western Pacific, and then returned to UP’s roster with the merger in 1982, assigned to the Missouri Pacific and finally named Selma in 1987.
