| The passing of a train normally allows the photographer one chosen viewpoint. Once that's decided, there's little further option to experiment. This approach hardly fosters a radical approach to railway photography. A charter event allows one the luxury of trying out something new whilst (on another run-past) also capturing the conventional. Here's one such experiment that seems to have worked out well. I hope you enjoy seeing this image captured whilst I lay flat out on the frosty ballast gravel to capture a backlit silhouette. |
