| Vermont Rail System operated a rare Saturday southbound run of the Newport to White River Junction train NPWJ on January 5, with VTR GP40-2 308 and CLP GP40-2 306 doing the honors. The trip was made with fresh overnight snowfall that occasionally was kicked up by the southbound train. The NPWJ is seen passing through long-dismantled ABS signals in a farm field at Passumpsic, Vermont. |
