Will Eritrea be the first country in Africa to introduce a high speed service between Asmara and Massawa? When we visited the shed in Asmara, we were surprised to discover this Eritrean "version of our TGV". The chassis was self made in the workshop and various parts from different origin have been used to assemble this railcar. Apparently, it is supposed to make some short runs on the line transporting passengers.
