Almost there Amtrak's westbound “Empire Builder” slides along the waterfront at Edmonds, Washington, on April 16, 2010, and will soon be ending a long trip from Chicago to Seattle. At this angle, the “bow waves” of Amtrak’s Phase 5 paint scheme on the P42DCs seem to mimmic the blue waters of Puget Sound, where a flock of migrating Brant geese watch the train go by from waters edge.
