It doesn't take much imagination to think this shot is from the 1980's what with those 3 matched and gleaming SD40N's. But, those blue ECDC hazardous material containers spoil the 1980's look. This is the well known Union Pacific "Dirt Train" on its return, empty, trip from the hazardous material landfill at East Carbon City, Utah. It is just about 1 mile from Mounds where it will join the Green River Sub for the remainder of it's trip back to Helper Yard.
