| Norfolk Southern's heritage unit in tribute to the Nickel Plate Road leads mixed freight 145 across the drawbridge spanning the Cuyahoga River and the flats of Cleveland, formerly the NKP's mainline through the city. As if that wasn't enough Nickel Plate history, the nearest skyscraper directly above the cab of the 8100 is the Terminal Tower, which was the railroad's headquarters prior to being absorbed into the Norfolk and Western. |
