In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, ethanol trains that had been normally routed to New Jersey on CSX have been detoured to a CP/VRS/NECR/P&W routing via the Green Mountain Gateway. On Veteran's Day, CP train 644-607 is rolling along Lake Champlain with a pair of former Soo Line SD60s decked out in CP paint ahead of an ICE and CP SD40-2. CP 6234, CP 6243, ICE 6426 and CP 6018 ease down the mainline at the 'new' North End Fort Ticonderoga Siding signals and on the approach with an Amtrak meet. The D&H signals that once stood a testament to time here have been removed.
