Cogwheel railcar Bhe 1/2 # 28, built in 1937 by SLM and MFO and thanks to good maintenance in excellent condition, little below the top station Pilatus Kulm. Here clearly visible the trackbed made from stones, rails and cograil still from the opening year of the railway in 1889, firmly fixed with anchors that pass underneath. The wheels of the railcars have outwardly disposed flanges. The horizontally arranged cogwheels engage from both sides in the "Locher" cog system.
