A warm April 1997 afternoon finds Provo Yard awash in gray and red Utah Railway power. Included in the lashups are six SD40s, an F45, and an SD45-2. Technically the F45 and SD45-2s are SD40s as their original 20 cylinder power plants have been replaced with 16s. Interestingly, the F45 has found a new home as a hotel you can rent along the Great Northern Railway in Essex, Montana.
