On March 20, 2012 Norfolk Southern Chattanooga paint shop pulled N&W SD45 #1776 after receiving a beautiful new paint job and the railroads first Heritage series ES44AC decked out in Southern paint. As everyone was focused on the NS/ SRR ES44AC I wanted to catch both units from the perspective of the SD45. Great job to the folks at the NS Paint Shop in Chattanooga TN and thanks again to everyone at Norfolk Southern and to our friend Andy Fletcher for making this year one that we will not forget.
