Remarks & Notes
New England Central Railroad train 324 heads south past mile 167 of the Palmer Subdivision in Cornish, NH, with a pair of ex-Florida East Coast Railway units - SD40-2 721 and GP40-3 437 - bracketing Connecticut Southern Railroad SD40-2 3771 on its way from St. Albans to Brattleboro, Vermont. The STB could allow Genesee & Wyoming to take over the RailAmerica properties as early as December 20, and plans are already in place for the painting of units into the corporate orange colors! Full story on the integration plans appears in Eastern Railroad News Online Daily News today: http://easternrailroadnews.com/daily-news/
