| The Adirondack catches last light as it rolls thru CP-144 with the Ocean View dome. The Amtrak Rensselaer Shops are on the left and the Albany-Rensselaer station is just ahead of the train. These shops were built in the mid 1970's to maintain the Rohr Turbo trains assigned to Empire Service and now maintain the dual mode P32's and other regular equipment. In steam days the NYC maintained a huge roundhouse out of sight to the left of these shops. |
