Remarks & Notes
The train station in Fullerton, California, appears quiet on a Friday evening. Originally built by the Santa Fe in 1930 (replacing the original Victorian depot built in 1888). Designed in a Spanish-Colonial style, this poured-in-place concrete structure is about 256 feet long (plus a 150-long covered platform), and sees (as of the date of this photo) about 60 Amtrak and Metrolink passenger trains stopping on one of its three tracks here each weekday (and about 30 passenger trains on weekends). Mix in 24 to 30 BNSF freight trains daily, and it becomes obvious why this is one of the most popular railfan hangouts in southern California!

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
