On her first employee excursion of the 21st Century Steam program for the 30th Anniversary of Norfolk Southern, NKP 765 charges northbound through Flat Rock, south of Bellevue after returning from Bucyrus on her first of three round trips for the day. Ironically, a year ago to this date, NKP 765 was pulling passenger excursions at the Train Festival events in Rock Island, IL.
