| During the July 4th night after the NS Heritage festival in Spencer the Amtrak display equipment quietly slipped out and went down to Charlotte where it was added to the consist of the Carolinian. Hours later in the morning of the 5th the train rolled back through Salisbury with this unusual consist. |
