Remarks & Notes
New England Central Railroad, the Providence & Worcester and the Vermont Rail System officials were joined by state legislators and transportation committee members on an office car special that ran from Montpelier Jct., VT to Worcester, MA, utilizing NECR GP38 3857, P&W E9B 668, "Connecticut" (PW 3840), "Massachusetts" (PW 4587) and the "New Englander" round-end observation (PW 90). Running passenger speed, the freshly laid ballast is creating a dust cloud behind the cruising train. Be sure to check out more photos at http://steelwheelsphotography.com
