Ex QR narrrow gauge 2-8-2 steam loco #218 is in the shed at the Zig-Zag Tourist Railway for maint, #218 was built in 1943 as part of the U.S. Second World War deployment and when the war ended was purchased by QR, after being withdrawn was purchased by Zig-Zag and returned to operation. It's classic American heritage is unmistakable. Taken with permission.
