| The paint schemes and running condition of some of the historic locomotives in service on the Delaware-Lackawanna make it possible to imagine what it was like in this region 50-60 years ago. Here former Jersey Central and Delaware & Hudson RS-3s mingle at D-L's shop. Except for the ditch lights and the federally-mandated reflective sill striping, a similar scene with these exact units could have easily occurred out not far from here decades earlier. |
