Remarks & Notes

The Rio Grande Zephyr, train #18 charges east on the shorter but steeper westward main track at Mapleton, Utah. The little streamliner will soon enter Spanish Fork Canyon while 11,749 ft. Mt. Timpanogos and Utah Valley recede into the distance.
