Remarks & Notes
AMT train 7 with 247,251,252 passes the Grand Crossing tower and heads for its station stop at La Crosse. Grand Crossing was a fine spot to spend a day train watching/photographing back in the 70's/80's. Unlike today's security conscious environment you could normally just stay out of the way and not be bothered by anyone. The westbound Empire Builder was an evening train and if the humidity wasn't to bad could be shot in good light during the summers around La Crosse.
