| Rest in Peace, Tuckahoe. The final full moon at Tuckahoe silhouettes the impressive and well photographed C&O cantilever at C.P. 'Tuckahoe', west of Alleghany. Tuckahoe was a well established photo location in the C&O era and remained a popular spot among railfans into the CSX modern era. Removed from service and scrapped in December of 2011, Tuckahoe acted as the last C&O cantilever trains would see as they approached the Summit of Alleghany in West Virginia. |
