| One-of-a-Kind Shot: Take note! This is the only engineer-side cab shot of a Burlington Northern executive unit on RP.net. Look at all the eye-candy! We see the effects of a 1990 rebuild by BN on the cab of BN 1, one of BN's former executive units. Looking outside, the farthest engine from me is Commonwealth Edison's CWEX 15, an SW1. Coming closer, we feast our eyes on MILW 760, an FM H10-44, the first locomotive built by Fairbanks-Morse. Finally, seen at the far left is TPW 400, a Toledo Peoria & Western Alco RS-11. I surely enjoyed my visit IRM and this is probably my best shot of the trip. Check out my other shot of an F9(A) here. A hearty thanks to the folks at IRM for being very hospitable and willing to go out of their way, so I could get this shot and experience the BN 1. |
